Ubuntu installation checklilst

Install the following apps:

Key components ('*' is compulsory)

• ssh *
• ufw *
• fail2ban *
• Nginx - this is the web server to host your website.
  
• php-fpm - install this if you are using PHP.
  
• ifupdown - install this for configure the static IP.
  

Optional components if you are hosting Node.js app.

• node
• pm2

The following component is not required

• vsftpd    - we may use SFTP instead. Skip this.
  

Useful utilities

• ncdu - to view the storage stat.
• htop - to view the mem, cpu stat.       
• goaccess - generate web traffic report for nginx.
